Beyoncé Early Life –
Beyonce was born on September 4, 1981. Her birthplace is Houston, Texas. Her mother is a salon owner and hairdresser and her father is a sales manager at Xerox. She has a younger sister who is also a singer and backup dancer for Destiny’s Child. Both the sisters are the 1st sisters to have number 1 albums.
Beyonce went to St. Mary’s Montessori School in Houston. She enrolled in a dance class in the school. Once her dance teacher was humming a song and she finished it and was able to hit the high-pitched notes. By this, her singing talent was discovered. At the age of 7, she won a school talent show.
Beyoncé Career Life –
At the age of 8, Beyonce and her childhood friend gave an audition for an all-girl entertainment group. Both were placed into the group called Girls Tyme with three other girls. She rapped and danced on the talent show circuit in Houston. R&B producer brought them to his Northern California studio and placed them in Star Search the largest talent show on national TV at the time. The group failed. Later in 1995, her father left the job to manage the group.
In 1996 the group changed his name to Destiny’s Child. In 1997 major label debut song Killing Time was released by the group. “No, No, No” their debut single and 1st major hit was released in November 1997. In February 1998 they released their self-titled debut album which helped them to make a name in the music industry. In 1999 Multi-Platinum second album The Writing’s on the Wall released.
Beyoncé’s first solo recording was a feature on Jay -Z song 03 Bonnie & Clyde that was released in October 2002. On U.S Billboard Hot 100 chart it was number 4. Her 1st solo album was Dangerously in Love which was in the top position on Billboard 200. Her 2nd solo album B’Day was released on September 4, 2006. On November 18 2008 I Am… Sasha Fierce was released.
