Bad Boys For Life, Starring with Will Smith Gets Early Digital Release Date

Earlier this year it was stated that Bad Boys For Life directors Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi had met with Marvel Studios to supervise significant projects for them to take on. The filmmaking duo according to The Direct will be directing Ms. Marvel Disney+ list for at least one episode.

The film was launched in theatres on 17th January 2020 and then was available to binge-watch at home from 31st March. The DVD was released on 31st April this year. With the nation’s film theaters dark due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sony Pictures hit its blockbuster action-comedy Bad Boys for Life an early digital launch on 31st March.

The film sees Martin and Will replicate their roles as Marcus Burnett and Detectives Mike Lowrey respectively.

The Bad Boys for Life is a follow-up to 2003’s Bad Boys 2 as Will disclosed earlier that he returned to the franchise for the viewers.

The film starring Martin Lawrence and Will Smith will debut April 21 on 4K Ultra HD, DVD, and Blu-ray.

The most theatrical launches before this pandemic were not available at home until 90 days after they were released in multiplexes. But given the odd incidents, Disney, Universal, STX Films, Lionsgate, Warner Bros, and Sony have all announced programs to release movies early on VOD, including Birds of Prey, Onward, The Invisible Man, and The Hunt.

So far, the movie – Bad Boys for Life is the highest-grossing film of the year, grossing $204 million in North America.

The film is a series to 1995’s Bad Boys and 2003’s Bad Boys II. This movie carries a $90 million production budget, reunites Lawrence and Smith as old-school cops driving down the leader of a Miami drug cartel. The film has its running time for 2hours 4 minutes straight action cum comedy. This movie will be eye-feasting for all the viewers watching it.

The film was premiered on Jan 17 in North America. March 31st is 74 days later which was the industry’s earliest pause for electronic sell-through before the present crisis occurred. The movie’s co-director Adil Arbi thinks the 17-year long wait for the sequel will make the new chapter as a stirring story for all the viewers.
