Babu Frik is a famous character in the Star Wars Universe. He is an Anzellan male who in both wars between the First Order and the Resistance. His job for surviving is as droids with the Spice Runners of Kijiji. He’s known for his ability to reprogram any droid.

Overview

Babu Frik made his debut in the Star Wars universe in the 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker. He was first shown on the official Star Wars Youtube Triple Force Friday Global Reveal Livestream on September 26th, 2019.

Babu is voiced by British actress Shirley Henderson. She has been in several movies and television shows like  Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Okja. Although Babu speaks in Anzellan and there are no subtitles, it’s easy to know what he is about to do and his intentions from his body language and tone.

To emphasize his dexterity, Babu’s hands are disproportionately larger than his tiny body. Although he is CGI, he moves with the practical puppetry of an old-fashioned Star Wars character
