After all this delay and postponement of the live-action of The Little Mermaid finally got a date from Walt Disney. The production date of the live-action movie was slated to start from March 2021, but it again got pushed due to the tight schedule and other production work of Walt Disney to July 2021.

As the production is set to begin in the year 2021, so don’t expect the movie to release anytime soon in the next year. It might release by the end of 2021 or by latest it will release early in 2022 or Summer of 2022.

There will be no change in the plot of the live-action Ariel. The title of the movie has been changed to the name of the protagonist of The Little Mermaid.
