Apple is about to launch its most talked smartphone, the all-new Apple iPhone SE 2. SE 2 was earlier expected to be launched on March 31, but due to the spread of the deadly COVID-19 virus worldwide, the device is now rumoured to be launched on April 15. The specs and design of the iPhone SE 2 had been leaked several times over the internet, and now we are just days away from putting our hands over the much-awaited iPhone SE 2 model from the Cupertino giant.
Apple iPhone SE 2 will be a retreat for those who are looking for a compact phone with an affordable price tag. We know that Apple has a cult-like following in India, and the affordable price tag with the compact design will come up as a dealy combo for those who face difficulty operating big smartphones and have a low budget.
Apple iPhone SE 2 will be a successor to the 2016 iPhone SE, which was equipped with high-end specifications but had a dated design. There are reports that things will be a bit different this time with the Apple iPhone SE 2 in terms of both specifications and design. We know that there is no strong contender in the market for Apple iPhone SE 2 as no compact smartphone has a high end- specifications and a catching design. Besides this, there are rumours that the iPhone SE 2 will have an affordable price tag and recently Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo even shared that the all-new iPhone SE 2 will start retailing from $399 (Rs 30,400) onwards. The price is pretty much similar to the price at which iPhone SE was launched in 2016.
Talking about the specifications of the iPhone SE 2, it will be equipped with an A13 Bionic chipset, and it is the same chipset which we can see in the iPhone 11 series. Also, the iPhone SE 2 will be bundled with 3GB of RAM and users will get two storage options of 64GB and 128GB. As far as rumours are to be believed, Apple iPhone SE 2 will feature a compact 4.7-inch display which will most likely be an LCD screen.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo even talked about the design of the upcoming iPhone and confirmed that iPhone SE 2 would have a dated design similar to that of the iPhone 8. Also, the iPhone SE 2 will include the Touch ID button which will replace the Face ID feature from the new iPhone. Kuo shared that iPhone SE 2 will be available in three colours: silver, grey and gold.
Apparently, the launch event will be held online in order to maintain the social distancing amid Coronavirus pandemic. Tech community and Apple fan club is eagerly waiting to get their hands on the upcoming iPhone SE 2. Let’s see what cupertino giant has to offer.
