Netflix has confirmed the release of Another Life season 2, its production is currently underway but might face a few speed bumps due to the pandemic. Season 1 premiered on the 25th July of 2019. Created by Aaron Martin, this sci-fi drama begins with an unknown flying object (UFO) shaped like a Mobius strip lands on Earth. The United States Interstellar Command tasks scientist Eric Wallace (Justin Chatwin) with discovering a way to communicate with the alien object, which he fails to do so. Eric’s wife Captain Niko Breckinridge (Katie Sackhoff) then takes command of the spaceship Salvare and its crew on a voyage in an attempt to find the origins of the artifact.

ANOTHER LIFE SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE
Production for the second season was set to begin in Vancouver earlier this year, but like most other programs, Another Life’s production has come to a halt due to the quarantine restrictions in place around the globe. Therefore, the premiere date for season 2 is currently anyone’s guess.

Supergirl actor Tyler Hoechlin’s character Ian and AJ Rivera’s character Bernie were killed off in season 1 and will most definitely not be seen on screen in season 2. However, deadline.com has reported the show will introduce Tongayi Chirisa to cast as series regular Richard Ncube, an army veteran. Other new characters will be played by Dillon Casey as Seth Gage, Shannon Chan-Kent as Iara, and Kurt Yaeger as Dillon Conner.
