American God is an American fantasy television drama series. The story is based on Neil Gaiman’s 2001 novel, which has the same name. The series was praised for its virtual style and acting both by audience and critics. It also received many awards. The audience has till now seen two seasons of the series. Now season 3 is being awaited by the audience. As per the producer’s update on 2019 March, the series is renewed for season 3, and it will have 10 episodes.
In 2019 October the production for season 3 also began as per sources. After the renewal of the series, the creators were planning to release the series in summer 2020. But due to the global crisis and the current situation, the dates are pushed back. No official comment is made by the creators. The exact date of release is still not clear.

- Brief Story – Shadow Moon is the main character of the series. He is released one day in advance from the jail as his wife expires in an accident. A series of event happens, and he gets delayed in reaching home. During this time period, he meets a strange man. He is offered a shadow job by the strange man. Initially, he rejects the job, and then the strange man says the job waiting at home for him no longer exists. He then accepts the job and becomes a strange man’s assistant. Season 3 will carry the story of Shadow Moon moving lakeside with a new name so that he can hide from the new Gods.
