Akon is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, actor entrepreneur and a philanthropist. Akon’s full name is Aliaune Damala Badara Akon Thiam. He was born on April 16, 1973 (age 47), Aliaune Damala Badara Akon Thiam St. Louis, Missouri, U.S. Akon is also known as El Negreeto. He does many different kinds of music genres like R&B, pop, hip hop and dancehall. He is a well-known actor from New Jersey. His first single debut was named as Trouble and was released in 2004. And his second single was named Lonely. He was on the number one and two spots simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for two times.

Akon’s first debut album was released on June 29, 2004, and named as Trouble. That song reached the 8th position in the US and 5th in Uk. Later his second single was released in 2005, named as Lonely. And was in the top five of the Billboard Hot. From 2006 he started doing a collaborative album with Young Jeezy. In 2007 he released the third single named Don’t Matter. And in 2008 he aired his four singles, Right Now, I’m So Paid, Beautiful and We Don’t Care. From 2010 to 2018 Akon did many Stadium and hiatus shows. In 2019 he released his Latin single Get Money. The final version of the album was released on 4 October 2019.
Akon’s new album
His sixth album Konnect will contain hip-hop and R&B music. And it is expected to be released in 2020. Akon also released a song named Girls Like U on 22 March 2020 which was a remix of Maroon 5. He also stated that there will be a follow-up for Konnect in 2021, named Konnection. And said that his new album will be different from his other ones.
