‘Scandal’ star Katie Lowes and her husband, actor Adam Shapiro, are set to welcome their second child together. The 38-year-old actor, who also has a parenting podcast, announced the news in an Instagram post.
‘Scandal’ star Katie Lowes is going soon to be a mom as she is expecting her second child with her beloved husband, actor Adam Shapiro. The 38-year-old American actress and theatre director delighted her fans with her pregnancy news through an Instagram post.
‘’Zootropolis’’ star shared a series of screenshots of herself holding up ultrasound pictures during several FaceTime sessions with Shapiro from her doctor’s clinic, and captioned her post as “We want to share some good news! Baby #2 coming November 2020″. She also added in her post that Adam, Albee, and I are so excited!”
As the actress announced the news that she is all set to welcome her second child, actress social media account flooded with good wishes of fans.
One of the actresses fan Josh Gad wrote, “Ahhhhhhhh!!!!! CONGRATS,”., while, other fans Chelsea Handler commented on her post jokingly that “Somebody was getting busy during COVID!!!! Yahoo!”
Lowes and Shapiro tied a knot in 2012 and were blessed with their first child, Albee Shapiro, in October 2017.
Lowes who also has a parenting podcast disclosed about her motherhood after welcoming her first child Albee, and revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage before her son Albee’s birth.
The ‘’Big hero 6’’ actress also confessed that “The initial feeling, when I found out there was no heartbeat from the doctor in a routine checkup, was like, ‘Okay, let’s Olivia Pope the situation, let’s fix it,’ ‘’. And continued with ” ‘Let’s make the schedule, let’s get to the hospital, let’s get the [dilation & curettage],’ ” recalled Lowes of her all-business get-go reaction. ” ‘When can I start trying again?’ ”
Lowes further explained that she was massively sad for three months. The soon-to-be a mom of two, Katie Lowes also shared the beautiful moments of their life together, after Albee’s birth.
Lowes and Shapiro joined the cast of Sara Bareilles’ hit Broadway musical Waitress, in July 2018. It is served as the Broadway debut for both actors, who got married in 2012 and also are co-founders of the IAMA Theatre Company in Los Angeles.
