Discovery of Witches Season 2 Release date
The second season of the show is expected to premiere in January 2021, although an exact date hasn’t yet been specified. Fortunately for the viewers, production and filming of the show were completed in December of 2019, before the global pandemic put a halt to everything. Post-production, however, remains and might be a cause for the delay as it requires integrating special effects. With the first season premiering in September of 2018, the show will return after more than 2 years!

Plot
Diana Bishop (Teresa Palmer) is a historian who discovers a mysterious manuscript in Oxford’s Bodleian Library, which represents an unwelcome intrusion of magic into her ordinary life. This is precisely what Bishop, a descendant of a long line of witches had been trying to avoid. Still, such was not the case, as the discovery attracted the attention of all kinds of mystical creatures such as daemons and vampires. Among the animals attracted to Diana is vampire Matthew Clairmont (Matthew Goode), a biochemist also interested in studying the manuscript. The two grow fond of each other whilst also trying to keep each other safe from other interested parties, and a romance starts blooming between the duo.
