A Discovery of Witches season 2 and 3 are in the works after the first chapter of the show, based on Deborah Harkness’s All Souls literary trilogy, which became Sky One’s most successful drama of 2018.
It received two million viewers and was eventually renewed, with the next two episodes replacing the second and third novels, Shadow of Night and The Book of Life.

A Discovery of Witches is a follow-up to the surprising relationship between a witch and a vampire established after a mysterious book is discovered in a library at Oxford University.
Cameron Roach, Head of Drama at Sky Studios, said, “just after the performance of season one, we’re really happy for the next episode of A Hunt of Witches as we move on to see the love story of Diana and Matthew and their adventures in Elizabethan London. We’ve got a wonderful cast lined up and a special historical setting that we hope will further attract fans.

The filming of this next season of the dream show began earlier, and thankfully the filming finished this year before the coronavirus reached the earth. This year, several shows have encountered disruptions owing to the current epidemic, but A Discovery of Witches is secure. Post-production, though, needs more time since it includes special effects.
Lately, Sky announced that A Discovery of Witches Season 2 will start broadcasting episodes from January 2021.

The plot of A Discovery of Witches season 2!
The Discovery of Witches season two relies on the Deborah Harkness’ All Souls Trilogy’s ‘Shadow of Night’ book which consists of ten episodes. With Elizabethan action, back in the present day, Diana’s favorite aunts, Sarah and Em, have to cover up with the notorious witch-hunter Ysabeau de Clermont in her home, Sept-Tours.
In Oxford, Marcus and Miriam use Matthew’s mantle to keep the demon Nathaniel and Sophie healthy, whose pregnancy is progressing. Gerbert, Knox, Satu, and Domenico are eager to hunt down any trace of the abduction of Diana and Matthew and to keep all the mysteries of their partners out of them.
