A complete guide to binge-watch MCU movie in order

Marvel movies

Bored at home? Utilize your lockdown period by binge-watching the marvel movies, if you haven’t yet. Here is the complete list of recent MCU movies.

Captain America: Civil War (2016)

This marks phase 3 of Marvel movies.  Captain America has kicked it off with the Civil War, which had a major impact on the entire world. It also introduced the great Black Panther (played by the late Chadwick Boseman) to the world. The plot is essential to lay the foundation for some major events in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. You can not afford to miss this epic movie.

Doctor Strange (2016)

Phase 3  introduced a number of new faces who could carry on the torch when the popular  (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, etc) are no longer around. One of those was Doctor Strange. The movie was beautifully enacted by Benedict Cumberbatch, and it fits perfectly well as a puzzle piece into the larger picture if you already know the world in which this all exists. A sequel, Doctor Strange, and the Multiverse of Madness are predicted to come out in 2022.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)

if you want to watch Vol 2, you will need to have to see Guardians of the Galaxy first. Likewise, you’ll need to see this one before you meet up again a few years down the line with the Guardians when they show up in Avengers: Infinity War.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

Homecoming skips the parent story and leaves us right into teenage science nerd Peter Parker’s everyday life as he’s mentored by that Tony Stark guy. Michael Keaton plays one of Marvel’s best villains here.

Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

Thor: Ragnarok is a top-tier MCU movie.  The movie directly takes us into the events of Avengers: Infinity War, so there’s that, too. Waititi will be returning to the Thor franchise when he directs the upcoming Thor: Love & Thunder, and we simply cannot wait for that.

Black Panther (2018)

Another one that can not absolutely miss is Black Panther, which you can basically watch whenever you want, although there are some minor references to the events of Captain America: Civil War.  The movie features the great acting skills of the cast.

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

The story takes up to what Marvel calls “The Infinity Saga”. And it helps us to go against the series most powerful villain, Thanos (Josh Brolin), who had been built up at this point through several previous appearances of his own. Thanos is very powerful – that is what is being heard. Now that he’s deployed. That enhances the MCU movie.

Ant-Man & The Wasp (2018)

Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily, and Michael Douglas return, along with more friends from the first Ant-Man for another edition. The movie could basically take place at any time until its ending, which drives us straight up to  Avengers: Endgame.

Captain Marvel (2019)

Captain Marvel is another that you can basically watch at any time, but the character is all set to be in the limelight for a good amount of time. Brie Larson acts as Carol Danvers, who is training in another galaxy with Jude Law until she lands in the 1990s United States.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)
