Last we saw of the updated 2021 Nissan Rogue was simply the vehicle, spilled in some blur photographs on the web, though blur, yet these pictures gave us a clear hint on what to expect from the update. Now, a few subtleties are streaming out about what’s better in the new crossover from Nissan. Powertrain figures and efficiency numbers were revealed in a report, demonstrating minor upgrades to both.
The report says the 2021 Nissan Rogue will show up with more ponies and torque than the active model, yet it won’t be a major overhaul. The Rogue will supposedly make 180 ponies and 175 pound-feet of the spinning force. These figures demonstrate a bump of 10 hp and 9 lb.-ft of torque. However, what’s still a matter of doubt is if the Rogue will get a new and different mill, however, it’s probably not going to get any electrification or hybridization.
The present Rogue is controlled by a 2.5-liter four-chamber motor that belts out 170 hp and 175 pound-feet of torque. Though more power is always welcome, yet the new numbers are just marginally better than the ongoing model. So speculations are that Nissan is basically utilizing a refreshed variant of the current 2.5-liter four-chamber in the engine.
